Ingredients
- 2 1/2 C water
- 1 C sugar
- Orange rind strips from 2 oranges
- 2 2/3 C fresh orange juice
- 1/3 C fresh lemon juice

Preparation
Step 1
Combine 2 1/2 C water & sugar in saucepan - bring to a boil.
Add rind strips to pan, Reduce heat & simmer 5 min.
Strain sugar mixture through sieve over bowl, reserving liquid - discard
solids.
Cool sugar mixture completely
Add orange juice & lemon juice to sugar mixture - stir well.
Pour mixture into freezer can of an ice-cream freezer - freeze according to
manufacture's instructions.
Spoon sorbet into freezer-safe container.
Cover & freeze for 1 hr. or until firm
