  • 1 1/2 tablespoons raisins
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon, plus a sprinkle as a garnish when serving
  • 3/4 cup water
  • apple or pear, chopped but not peeled or cored
  • banana and/or berries, fruit slices such as peach, nectarine, plum

Step 1

1. Soak oats, raisins and cinnamon in the water for eight to twelve hours in a covered bowl (or in the blender) left on the counter.
2. Blend the soaked ingredients and the apple or pear.
