Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 3/4 c seasoned fine dry bread crumbs
- 1 c finely chopped fresh mushrooms
- 1/2 chopped onion
- 1/4 bottled barbecue sauce
- 1 T Dijon-styled mustard
- 1 T Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 t garlic powder
- 1/2 t bottled hot pepper sauce
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 lb. sweet Italian sausage (remove casings)
- 1 lb. raw turkey
- Bottled barbecue sauce

Preparation
Step 1
1. In a very large mixing bowl, stir together the eggs, bread crumbs, chopped mushrooms, onion, the 1/4 c barbecue sauce, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and hot pepper sauce.
2. Add the beef, Italian sausage, and turkey and mix well. In a 3-quart rectangular baking dish, pat mixture into a loaf (about 11x5 inches).
3. Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours or until center of the meat loaf is completely cooked, spooning additional barbecue sauce over loaf the last 20 minutes of baking.
4. Let the meat loaf stand for 10 minutes. Using two spatulas, transfer loaf to a serving platter.
