Ingredients
- 3 LB beef short ribs, cut into serving-
- sized pieces
- 2 TBL packed brown sugar
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried thyme leaves, crushed
- 1/4 C flour
- 1 can (10 1/2) oz condensed French
- Onion soup
- 1 bottle (12oz) dark ale or beer
- hot mashed potatoes or egg noodles

Preparation
Step 1
place beef in 5qt slow cooker
add brown sugar, garlic, thyme & flour
toss to coat
stir soup & ale in sm. bowl
pour over beef
cover & cook on LOW for 8-9 hrs or until beef is fork-tender
serve w/ mashed potatoes or pasta
