Ingredients

  • 2 pkgs. dry Yeast
  • 7 to 8 cups Flour
  • 1 Tsp. Salt
  • 2 1/2 cups warm Water

Step 1

Combine ingredients. Beat at low speed of mixer 30 seconds, scraping sides of bowl constantly. Beat 3 minutes at high speed. By hand stir in enough remaining flour to make a moderately stiff dough. Knead on lightly floured surface until smooth and elastic, 8 to 10 minutes. Shape into balls, Place in greased bowl and turn dough to grease top. Cover and let rise in warm place until doubled (about 45 minuts).
Punch down dough, divide into fourths. Roll each circle to fit a greased 12" pizza pan. Bake in 500 degree oven 6 to 8 minutes, until crusts starts to brown (will be somewhat uneven). Cool, freeze in pans or on flat surface, then wrap.
