Ingredients

  • CRUST:
  • 1 box thin chocolate wafers (Famous)
  • 1 stick butter (melted)
  • CAKE:
  • 2 Quarts softened ice cream
  • 2 different flavors
  • 4-6 heath bars
  • FUDGE SAUCE:
  • 4 oz. unsweetened chocolate
  • 3 TBL butter
  • 5 1/3 oz. can evaporated milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 2 C confectioner's sugar

Preparation

Step 1

CRUST:
Crush the wafers (in blender)
Mix the crumbs & melted butter
Pat into a spring form cake pan over the bottom & a little way up sides
Freeze for at least 7 hours

CAKE:
Spread 1 quart of the softened ice cream over the crust.
Top with 2 of the crushed Heath bars (crush in blender)
Add fudge sauce (approximately 1/2 of recipe) to cover.
Freeze approximately 1/2 hour.
Add another quart of softened ice cream.
Top with another crushed Heath Bar.
Freeze
Heat other 1/2 fudge sauce & serve with cake

FUDGE SAUCE:
Melt the chocolate & butter together.
With a wisp, add the milk.
Add the salt & vanilla.
Slowly add the confectioner's sugar
