Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs chicken thighs or drumsticks
  • 2 tbsp EVOO
  • 6 tangerines' juice
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup orange marmalade
  • 2 tbsp white wine vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper
  • 1 tbsp grated tangerine peel

Preparation

Step 1

Season ck with salt and pepper. In large dutch oven, heat EVOO. Add chicken and cook, turning, until browned, approx 10 min. Transfer to plate. Add juice to pot w/ broth, marmalade, vinegar, and red pepepr. Bring to a boil and cook, stirring, until reduced by 1/2, approx 5 minutes. Return chicken to pot with peel and cook, turning the chicken, approx 10 minutes until sauce is syrupy.
