Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tbsp butter, melted and cooled (more to grease pan with)
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2/3 cup bananas, mashed
- 1 cup mini chocolate chips
- sliced bananas
Preparation
Step 1
In a medium bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. In a separate bowl, mix egg, milk, melted butter, vanilla and mashed bananas.
Stir flour mixture into banana mixture. (batter will be slightly lumpy) Stir in 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips.
Heat pan over medium-high heat. Pour 1/4 cup batter in pan for each pancake. Cook until pancakes are golden brown on both sides. Top with fresh bananas if desired.
Melt remaining chocolate chips in microwave and pour into a ziplock bag. Snip off a small corner and drizzle over pancakes. Serve with warm syrup.
