Field Greens, Blue Cheese and Spicy Pecan Salad

Ingredients
- Salad:
- 4 cups mixed field greens
- 2 green onions
- 4 oz blue cheese crumbled
- 1 granny smith - chopped
- 1/4 c (more!) chopped spicy pecans
- Brianna's blush wine vinaigrette
- Spicy Pecans:
- 2 lg egg whites
- 1 1/2 t salt
- 3/4 c sugar
- 2 t worcestershire sauce
- 2 T hungarian paprika
- 1 1/2 t cayenne
- 4 1/2 c pecan halves
- 6 T unsalted butter - melted & cooled

Preparation
Step 1
Toss greens, onions, blue cheese, apple and pecans. Add dressing, tossing to coat.
Pecans:
Preheat oven to 325. Beat egg whites and salt until foamy. Add sugar, worcestershire, paprika and cayenne. Fold in pecans and melted butter. Spread evenly on a baking sheet. Bake 30 to 40 minutes stirring every 10 min. Remove and cool. Store in airtight container.
