Sugar Cookie Bars - Lisa

Ingredients

• BARS:
• 1 1/2 C. Sugar
• 1 C. Butter, softened
• 8 oz. Cream Cheese, softened
• 1 Egg
• 1/2 t. Almond Extract
• 1 t. Vanilla
• 1/2 t. Baking Soda
• 1 t. Baking Powder
• 2 1/2 C. Flour
• FROSTING:
• 1/2 C. Butter, softened
• 4 oz. Cream Cheese, softened
• 3 1/2 C. Powdered Sugar
• 2 t. Vanilla
• Milk to consistency

Preparation

Step 1

Cream butter, cream cheese and sugar. Add egg, almond extract and vanilla. Blend until smooth. Mix in all of the dry ingredients.

Grease cookie sheet pan with cooking spray, spread dough into the pan. Sprinkle some flour onto the dough, so it's easier to spread.

BAKE 350 for 20 minutes.

Cool and Frost
