Ingredients

  • 3/4 c. Margarine or Butter melted
  • 1-1/2 c. Sugar
  • 1-1/2 tsp. Vanilla Extract
  • 3 Eggs
  • 3/4 c. Flour
  • 1/2 c. Hershey's Cocoa Powder
  • 1/2 tsp. Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp. Salt
  • 1 c. Semi Sweet Chips
  • 1 c. Chopped Walnuts

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 8x8x2" square pan. In medium mixing bowl, blend melted margarine or butter, sugar, & vanilla. Add eggs; beat well with a spoon. Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder & salt; gradually add to egg mixture, beating until well blended. Stir in chips and/or nuts. Spread into prepared pan. Bake 40-45 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan. Cool completely; cut into squares.
