Ingredients
- Sauce:
- 16 oz rotini pasta
- 29 oz tomato puree
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1/2 tsp basil
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp marjoram
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Toppings:
- 1 lb ground beef (or turkey)
- 1/2 yellow onion (diced)
- 12 oz bag pepper onion blend
- 4 oz mini pepperoni
- 2.25 oz can sliced black olives
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella or pizza cheese

Preparation
Step 1
Combine sauce ingredients in a medium saucepan. Simmer on low, stirring often, until ready to use. Cover with a loose lid, as it tends to spatter.
In a large stockpot, prepare pasta as directed to al dente. Drain. Return to stockpot.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a large skillet, cook meat until no longer pink. Drain, if necessary. Stir in the frozen vegetables. Cook until vegetables are no longer frozen. Remove from heat. Stir in pepperoni and olives.
Stir meat mixture and sauce into the pasta in the stockpot. Combine well to ensure all pasta is covered in sauce.
Spray 9x13 baking dish with cooking spray. Pour pasta into the baking dish. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and top with mozzarella cheese. Allow to set for 5 - 10 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
