Ingredients
- Cake
- 2 Cups Sugar
- 1/2 Cup Butter
- 1 Cup Buttermilk
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 Cups Coconut (packed)
- 5 Egg-yolks (Retain Egg Whites)
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 2 Cups Pecans (chopped)
- 2 Cups Flour
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
- Icing
- 1 Box Powder sugar
- 1 Stick Butter
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 1 Cup Coconut (packed)
- 1 Cup Pecans (chopped)
- 8 oz. Sour Cream (don't use all; wait to see if icing is too thick)

Cake
Mix ingredients in order
Beat Egg Whites till stiff and fold into cake mix.
Pour into two round cake pans
Bake 325 degree pre-heated oven for 45 minutes.
Test with tooth pick
Icing
Cream sugar, butter, add sour cream, add remaining ingredients. (add more sugar or sour cream to for consistency.
