Ingredients

  • 12 slices bread
  • 1 (18 oz.) jar peanut butter
  • 1 (12 oz.) jar jelly
  • 5 eggs
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 4 Tb. butter
  • powdered sugar , for dusting

Preparation

Step 1

1. Remove crusts from bread and spread one half of each slice with peanut butter, the other with jelly. Roll bread, beginning with jelly end.

2. In a medium bowl, mix eggs, milk, and vanilla. Dip each roll into egg mixture to coat. Let excess drip off.

3. Heat a large griddle or skillet to medium-high heat and melt butter. Cook rolls until golden brown.

4. Place rolls on a servng dish and dust with powdered sugar.
