Ingredients

  • You can freeze baked cheese bites up to one month.
  • 1 c. flour
  • 2/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 tsp. ground red pepper
  • 1/2 c. butter, cut up
  • 2 Tb. milk

Step 1

In a medium bowl, combine first 3 ingredients. Using a pastry blender or two knives, cut butter into dry ingredients until mixture is crumbly. (Mixture will look very dry.) Gently press mixture together with hands, working until blended and smooth (about 2-3 minutes). Shape dough into two 4" long logs. Wrap in plastic wrap and place in an airtight container. Chill 8 hours or freeze up to 3 months. (Thaw overnight in refrigerator.)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cut dough into 3/8" thick slices and place on lightly greased baking sheet. Brush with milk. Bake 12-15 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove pan to a wire rack and cool completely. Freeze up to one month, if desired.
