Ingredients

  • 1 (9") ready-made pie crust
  • 2 baking apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 Tb. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 Tb. chopped walnuts
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. butter

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place pie crust on baking sheet. Mix apples, sugar, flour and cinnamon and spread on half of pie crust. Sprinkle walnuts and lemon juice over apples. Dot with butter. Fold crust in half over apples. Crimp edges and cut a vent slit in top. Bake for 1 hour or until golden.
