Ingredients
- 5 egg yolks
- 2 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 pints half and half
- 3 (8 oz.) cream cheese
- 3 Tb. lemon juice
- 3 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 pints plain yogurt

Preparation
Step 1
Combine egg yolks and 3/4 c.sugar in a 4 cup glass dish. Whisk in half and half. Microwave on high 5-5 1/2 minutes, whisking midway through cooking. Refrigerate. Place cream cheese in glass mixing bowl and microwave on 50% power for 3-3 1/2 minutes. Beat in remaining 1 1/2 c. sugar, lemon juice and vanilla. Add yogurt and chilled egg mixture. Beat until smooth. Place in ice cream freezer and freeze according to freezer directions.
