Ingredients
- 4 c. sugar
- 3 c. water
- 3 c. fresh lemon juice
- fresh mint leaves or lemon slices, for garnish

Preparation
Step 1
1. Heat sugar and water on medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves. Add lemon juice and stir to combine.
2. Pour mixture into a 15x9x2" baking dish. Place in freezer and stir with a rubber spatula every 20 minutes until completely frozen, breaking up any large lumps.
3. Serve granita in glasses, garnished with fresh mint or lemon slices.
