  • 1 stick butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt, sifted with flour

Step 1

Line a 8x8 or 9x9 inch pan with fruit. Make batter with listed ingredients. Pour batter over the fruit and spread to cover. Mix 1 cup sugar and 1/2 cup water. Pour over the batter.

Bake at 350 for 1 hour or longer.
