Ingredients
- 3 med onions, cut into wedges
- 3 - 3 -1/2 LBS bone-in beef short ribs
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 bottle (12oz) light beer
- 2 TBL brwn sugar
- 2 TBL dijon mustard
- 2 TBL tomato paste
- 2 tsp dried thyme
- 2 tsp beef bouillon granules
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/3 tsp pepper
- 3 TBL flour
- 1/2 C cold water hot cooked noodles

Preparation
Step 1
place onions in 5-qt slow cooker
add ribs & bay leaf
combine beer, brn. sugar, mustard, tomato paste, thyme, bouillon, S & P
pour over meat
cover & cook on low for 8-10 hrs or until meat is tender
remove meat & vegies to serving platter
keep warm
discard bay leaf
skim fat from cooking juices
transfer juices to sm. saucepan
bring liquid to boil
combine flour & water until smooth
gradually stir into pan
bring to boil
cook & stir for 2 min or until thickened
serve w/ meat & noodles
