Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 c. biscuit and baking mix
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 Tb. cocoa
  • 1 / 2 c. half and half
  • 1/4 c. chocolate syrup
  • 3 Tb. vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 3/4 c. semisweet chocolate mini-morsels
  • 1/4 c. sliced almonds

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a large bowl, combine baking mix, sugar, and cocoa. Make a well in center of mixture. Combine half and half and next 4 ingredients; add to dry ingredients, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened. Stir in chocolate morsels and almonds. Spoon into greased muffin pans, filling 2/3 full. Bake 11-12 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center of muffin comes out clean. Remove from pans immediately.
