I like it mixed with yogurt and served as a stir-in for soups or as a dip for pita breads

  • 48 servings - serving size 1 tsp.
  • 1 cup good extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 tsp. sweet smoked Spanish paprika
  • 2 tsp. hot smoked Spanish paprika

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oil in a saucepan for 1 minute. Add paprika, stir and remove from heat. Leave to infuse for about an hour, by which time the paprika should separate and sink to the bottom of the pot.

Strain through a fine sieve or a coffee filter into a clean jar or bottle or, ideally, a squeeze bottle. Keep in a cool dark place for several weeks.

I find it lasts indefinately
