- 2 cups butter
- 2 8 oz pkg cream cheese
- 4 cups flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup chopped almonds
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon

Step 1
Mix butter,cream cheese,flour and salt until smooth. form into 6 discs and refrigerate for a few hrs.(you can also freeze until chilled to expedite the process) Preheat oven to 350. Combine almonds,sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Flour working surface very well. Roll the dough into a large circle with a 1/4" thickness, Sprinkle dough with sugar mix and using a pizza cutter cut into 16 sections roll each piece,starting from the outer edge going into the center and place on a baking paper lined baking sheet.Bake 20-25 min or until golden brown. ( the more golden,the flakier and sweeter the rugelach will be)
