  • Lemon Garic Butter Baste
  • 1/4 cup oil (Olive)
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 8 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 Tablespoon lemon juice or to taste
  • Mahi Mahi
  • LuLu Cajun rub
  • Olive oil

Preparation

Step 1

Prepare the Garlic Butter:

In a sauce pan over medium heat, add the oil and butter and stir until butter melts. Add the garlic and lemon juice, bring to a boil and then turn off heat and set aside.

Spread a little plain olive oil over the Mahi Mahi fillets and season with LuLu's rub. Place on hot grill. Cook
one minute then open grill and baste with Garlic Lemon Butter and cook 2 more minutes. Watch carefully because it has a tendency to flame.

Turn steaks after 3 minutes total and baste with Garlic Lemon Butter on other side and cook another 2 to 3 minutes until fish flakes with fork. DO NOT OVERCOOK So much depends on how hot your grill is and how thick are your fillets. If grill flames move fish to another part of grill.
