Coffee Buttercream Frosting

Our fluffy, four-ingredient frosting is super easy and just the right topping for your cakes, cupcakes and brownies.

Ingredients

• 1/4 cup Maxwell House Café, Instant Coffee Beverage Mix, any flavor
• 3 Tbsp. hot milk
• 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
• 4 cups icing sugar

Step 1

Dissolve 1/4 cup Maxwell House Café Mix, any flavour, in 3 Tbsp. hot milk.

Beat 1/2 cup softened butter in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until creamy.
Gradually add 4 cups icing sugar, beating on low speed until well blended.

Mix in coffee mixture. Let stand, if necessary, until frosting is of spreading consistency.


Notes:
For perfectly smooth frosting, sift icing sugar before using.
