Salisbury Steak

Ingredients

• Topping:
• water 3/4 c
• tomato paste 3TB
• worcestershire sauce 1 1/2 tsp
• black pepper 1/4 tsp
• french onion soup 1 can
• can mushrooms 1 can
• Meat:
• ground turkey 3/4 Pd
• ground round 3/4 pd
• dry bread crumbs 1/3 C
• egg 2

Preparation

Step 1

combine turkey, round, bread & eggs
form into 1/2 " patties
heat skillet and spray with pam
add patties and cook until browned
remove patties from pan
stir in water, tomato paste, worcestershire, pepper, soup & drained mushrooms
bring to a boil then add patties back in
cover and reduce heat for about 10 min
uncover and cook until liquid is reduced about 10 min

Serve with, red potatoes or peas & carrots with tops, or salt & peppered zucchini & squash
