Today is National S’mores Day! To celebrate, I have brought along a wonderful recipe for S’mores Pie. A crisp graham cracker crust is layered with silky smooth chocolate ganache, a fluffy marshmallow cream mixture and topped with Hershey Chocolate Bar curls. It’s s’more flavor at it’s best, truly.

Preparation
Step 1
1. Toss a little more than one package of graham crackers into a large Ziploc bag. Crush the crackers with a rolling-pin until they make fine crumbs. You need 1 1/2 C of crumbs total.
2. Pour the crumbs into a 9.5 inch pie plate. Pour 7 Tb melted butter, 1/3 C sugar, 1/8 tsp cinnamon and a dash of salt over the crumbs. Mix it all together with a fork to combine.
3. Grab a small measuring cup and press the crumbs into the bottom and up the sides of the pie plate, forming a beautiful crust.
4. Pour 1 C heavy cream into a small sauce pan and heat it to a low simmer. Remove it from the heat and pour over 1 1/3 C milk chocolate chips. Give it a stir. Now, don't be alarmed when it looks a little bit funky. Smooth chocolate is in your near future, I promise. Just keep on a stirring, friends. Smooth chocolate will appear before you know it. Once the chocolate and cream are well combined, add 1 tsp vanilla and stir it in. Pour the whole mixture into the crust. Set it in your fridge to set up. It should set up for you in about an hours time.
5. Place 1 (8 ounce) package softened cream cheese and 1 (7 ounce) jar of marshmallow creme into a large mixing bowl. Beat them together to combine. Add 1 tsp vanilla and a dash of salt. Mix to combine. Fold in 1 (8 ounce) container of thawed cool whip. Carefully spread it over the cooled and set, chocolate layer.
6. Take a large (giant-sized) Hershey Bar and hold it between your two hands for a 30 seconds or so (while it's still in the package). This will help to warm the chocolate up a bit and make it easy to peel into pretty curls. Open up the package and using a sharp vegetable peeler, shave the edges of the bar into pretty curls.
7. Chill the pie for 3-4 hours, or overnight.
Slice and enjoy!
