Ingredients

  • 1 Tb. Yeast
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. warm water
  • 1 c. hot milk
  • 3/4 c. butter
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 large can crushed pineapple
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 Tb. ground cinnamon
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • 1/2 c. chopped marachino cherries
  • 1 c. melted butter

Preparation

Step 1

Combine yeast with sugar. Add 1/2 c. warm water; let sit. Heat 1 c. milk (hot); put in yeast and flour until you can handle and let rise. Melt 1 stick butter, add crushed pineapple and flour to thicken. Roll out dough on floured surface. Brush with melted butter. Spread pineapple mixture on and then cinnamon-sugar, then nuts. Roll into long roll and slice. Put into muffin tins (small size) and add cherry piece to center. Drizzle butter on top. Bake.
