Ingredients
- 1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
- 1 (16 oz.) loaf cinnamon bread
- 1/4 c. butter, softened
- 1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar
- 2 Tb. water

Step 1
Spread about 3 Tb. pie filling on one side of half of bread slices; top with remaining bread slices. Spread one side of each sandwich with butter. Place each sandwich, buttered side down, in a cast-iron skillet. Cook over medium heat 1-2 minutes or until lightly browned. Butter top side of each sandwich; turn and cook 1-2 minutes. Combine powdered sugar and water; drizzle over sandwiches. Serve with remaining pie filling, if desired. Sandwiches can also be served as a dessert.
