Ingredients
- 1 loaf frozen bread dough, thawed
- 4 Granny Smith apples, cored, peeled and thinly sliced
- 3/4 c. + 1/3 c. sugar, divided
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 Tb. vanilla
- 1/4 c. sliced almonds
- 1/4 c. butter, melted
- 1 1/4 c. flour

Preparation
Step 1
Let dough rise according to package directions. Spread out dough on a greased 16x11" baking sheet. Let rise again for 20-25 minutes. Mix apples, 3/4 c. sugar, cinnamon and vanilla; spread apple mixture evenly over dough. Sprinkle with almonds; set aside. In a small bowl, combine butter, flour and remaining sugar; mix with fingertips or a fork until crumbly. Spread evenly over apple layer. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes. Cut into squares to serve.
