Hot Cocoa Mix - Large Quantity
From food.com
My Notes: I made this for Christmas 2012. I made two changes - I added 2 tsp salt and I substituted the equivalent of 2 lb of store brand Splenda for 2 lb of the powdered sugar. I also processed small batches at a time in the food processor to make the mix smoother. A gallon Ziploc was large enough.
Another recipe called for 1 T cornstarch and a pinch of cayenne pepper.
I gave some of this to Natalie for Christmas along with some mint M&M’s, toffee bits, dehydrated mini marshmallows and a spiral candy cane on a stick for stir ins.
Directions for making - Place 5 T mix into a coffee cup. Add enough BOILING water to make a paste. Add additional hot/boiling water to fill cup and mix well. Enjoy!
