Ingredients

    Box Devil's Food Cake Mix

  • 3

    eggs

  • 1

    Cup milk

  • ½

    Cup sour cream

  • 1

    teaspoon pure vanilla extract

  • ½

    cup (I stick) butter (melted and cooled)

Directions

Mix eggs, sour cream, milk and butter together. Add vanilla. Add cake mix and mix well. Put in cupcake liners. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes, checking for doneness after 22 minutes. Chocolate Peanut Butter Buttercream Frosting: 1/2 Cup (1 stick) butter - softened but not melted 1/2 Cup creamy peanut butter 1/2 Cup unsweetened cocoa powder 1 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract 1 1/2 Tablespoons milk 3 - 4 Cups Powdered Sugar (depending on how thick you want the frosting) Mix all ingredients (except sugar) together. Slowly add sugar and beat until the consistency you want. I made mine thick so I could pipe onto the cupcakes.
