Ingredients

  • 4 c.broccoli
  • 4 cloves of garlic minced
  • 1 c.chicken stock
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 T.of olive oil
  • 1 T. of butter
  • 1/4 c.of Fresh Greated Parmesan
  • Pinch of pepper flakes (optional)
  • 8 oz. of pasta

Preparation

Step 1

1.Fill large pot w/ water and sprinkle in some salt,bring to a boil. Add pasta and cook according to package,reserve 1/2 c. of the starchy pasta water.
2.In LG. skillet with high sides preheat the oil and garlic together over medium heat,and broccoli and chicken stock and bring to a boil. Cook about 7 to 8 minutes until broccoli is tender.
3.Using a wooden spoon,smash up some of the broccoli,and cooked drained pasta add butter,parmesan cheese. Stir everything together,turn up the heat and cook for 1 minute. If you feel like you need a bit more liquid and the reserved starchy cooked water.
