Ingredients

  • 2⅔

    cups flour

  • 1

    tbs baking powder

  • 1

    tsp baking soda

  • 1

    tsp salt

  • 2

    cups granulated sugar

  • cups cocoa powder, sifted

  • 2

    cups water (cold)

  • I cup Margarine

  • 3

    Eggs

  • For gnash

  • 2

    cups sliced Almonds

  • ½

    stick (¼ cup) unsalted butter

  • ½

    cup half-and-half

  • ½

    cup confectioners sugar

  • 5

    ounces fine-quality Dark chocolate chips(not unsweetened)

  • ¼

    teaspoon salt

Directions

Mix all cake ingredients , first the wet then slowly mix in the dry. Bake @ 355 for 45 min then check with tooth pick.( bake longer if needed) Let cake cool.. In source pan mix butter cream sugar chocolate and salt. Mix well letting the chips melt, pore in the almonds leaving some for sprinkle. Pore onto the cake and enjoy worm or cold.
