Preparation
Step 1
Basic Cauliflower Puree
Ingredients:
200g Cauliflower cut into small florets
1 Cup water for steaming
Directions:
Bring the cup of water to the boil in the steamer pot and place the cauliflower florets into the steamer basket. Cover with lid and steam the florets until tender ( about 10 minutes, I use mark 5 on my stove) Reserve the cooking liquid.
When the floret's are cooked, puree to a smooth consistency. For the older babies just crush the cauliflower with the back of a fork. Use the reserved cooking liquid to make the puree lighter if you think its too thick for your baby.
