Ingredients
- 2 lbs lean ground beef
- 1 T oil
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 3 large stalks of celery cut fine
- 1 extra large onion minced
- 1 large green pepper cut fine
- 3 16oz cans tomatoes diced
- 1 16 oz can tomato sauce
- 1 T salt
- 1 T black pepper
- 2 T chili powder
- 1 sm can diced green chilis
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1/2 tea cumin
- 2 T sugar
- 3 16 oz cans kidney beans drained

Preparation
Step 1
Heat oil, brown meat lightly. Saute garlic,celery, onion and green pepper for about 10 min.
Drain off fat from meat and sauted items
Combine all of the ingredients in a 6 qt crock pot.
Cook on high for 2 hrs and low for 4 hrs.
Add more chili powder if necessary
