Ingredients
- TOPPING:
- 1 can pumpkin - (16 oz)
- 3 eggs beaten
- 1 large can evaporated milk
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 liter teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 box cake mix
- 1 cup chopped nuts (pecans are good)
- 1 stick margarine
Preparation
Step 1
Mix first 8 ingredients well. Pour into well greased 9- by l3-inch pan. Sprinkle cake mix over the above pumpkin mixture. Sprinkle nuts over the top of cake mix. Drizzle margarine over all.
Bake at 350 degrees, 45 to 50 minutes. Test as for custard, knife comes out clean. Hmmm good.
