Italian Steak Strips

Ingredients

• Beef top sirloin steak 1-2 pds
• egg 1
• Italian seasoned bread crumbs 1/2 C
• dried basil 1/2 tsp
• oregano 1/2 tsp
• salt 1/8 tsp
• pepper 1/8 tsp
• oil
• spaghetti sauce
• shredded Italian cheese blend 1-2 C

Preparation

Step 1

in shallow bowl whisk egg
in another shallow bowl combine bread crumbs, basil oregano, salt & pepper
cut steak into even strips
dip each piece in egg & then crumbs
heat oil in pan & add steak
cook steak on med - high 4 min on each side until middle in no longer pink
heat sauce in pan & spoon over steak
sprinkle with cheese
