  • 1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels
  • 2/3 c. evaporated milk, divided
  • 1 pkg. German Chocolate cake mix
  • 3/4 c. butter, softened
  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • 6 oz. (1 c.) chocolate chips

Preparation

Step 1

Combine caramels and 1/3 c. evaporated milk; melt together. Combine cake mix with 1/3 c. evaporated milk and butter with mixer, and nuts; press half of batter into pan. Cook a few minutes at 350 degrees. Sprinkle chocolate chips over crust. Pour caramel mixture over mixture and crumble remaining cake mixture over caramels. cook for 10-12 minutes.
