Chocolate Angel Food Cake

• 1 pkg. angel food cake mix, (choose a 1 step mix; Betty Crocker is good)
• 1/3 c. unsweetened cocoa powder, (Ghiradelli and Droste are good)

Step 1

Prepare cake mix according to pkg. directions. After ingredients are moistened, being to beat and add cocoa powder gradually, 1 Tb. at a time. Do not overbeat the mixture; stay within the time limit designation on the box. Scrape sides and bottom of bowl with a spatula to mix in any extra cocoa powder. Pour into a nonstick bundt or angel food cake pan. Bake according to pkg. directions. Good with orange, chocolate or vanilla glaze.
