Ingredients
- 12 uncooked manicotti shells
- 1 large sweet onion, chopped
- 1 jar 3 cheese spaghetti sauce
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 2 tsp. Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp. onion powder
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 2 c. shredded cheddar-Monterey Jack cheese
- 1 carton ricotta cheese
- 1/2 c. grated Parmesan, divided
- 1 egg

Preparation
Step 1
Cook manicotti according to directions. Meanwhile, in a lg. skillet, cook onion over med. heat until tender. Stir in the spaghetti sauce, sugar, Italian seasoning, onion powder and garlic powder. Place 1 c. sauce into a greased 9x13 baking dish.
Drain manicotti. In a large bowl, combine the cheddar-Monterey Jack, ricotta, 1/4 c. Parmesan and egg. Stuff into manicotti shells. Place shells over sauce. Top with remaining sauce. Sprinkle with remaining Parmesan. Cover and bake at 350F for 35-40 min. or until bubbly.
