Ingredients
- Marinade:
- 3 Tablespoons ginger (finely grated), or 3/4 tsp. ground ginger
- 3 Tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 1 Tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 Tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 teaspoons Sriracha
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 flank steak
- Salt & pepper
- For Serving:
- 2 limes (cut into wedges)
- 1/2 bunch cilantro (leaves picked)
- Sriracha, optional

Preparation
Step 1
Cut flank steak with the grain into 4 pieces. Prick steak with a fork approximately 20 times on each side to tenderize and let the marinade penetrate the meat.
Combine the marinade ingredients in a abowl and whisk to combine. Add the beef and cover with plastic wrap. Let marinate for a minimum of a few minutes or up to one hour.
Preheat the grill over medium-high heat. Remove the meat from the marinade and discard the marinade. Season with salt & pepper. Place on the grill and cook 1-2 minutes per side. Remove from the grill and let rest.
