Ingredients
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 2/3 cups granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chopped dark chocolate (or 1 cup chocolate chips)
- 1/2 cup Nutella

Preparation
Step 1
Whisk together heavy cream, milk, sugar, cocoa powder, vanilla and salt until sugar dissolves.
Freeze according to the ice cream maker manufacturer's instructions. During the last 5 minutes, mix in chocolate chips and slowly drop in dollops of nutella. Continue churning just until mixed.
Transfer ice cream to a freezer safe container and freeze until frozen, about 4 hours. Serve.
