Ingredients

  • 1 refrigerator pie crust (1/2 a box)
  • 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 1/4 lb ground chorizo
  • 1 small yellow onion, diced
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1/4 tsp dried ground cumin
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg, beaten

Preparation

Step 1

Brown beef, chorizo, onion and garlic in pan until cooked through. Add cumin, salt and pepper.

Roll out pie crust and cut into 3 inch rounds (the rim size of most drinking glasses). Put a tablespoon of filling on each round and fold and crimp edges. Brush with egg wash and bake at 375 for 15 minutes, until golden brown.
