- One Basic Tart Shell, pre-baked
- One Recipe for Vanilla Pastry Cream
- 1 c. finely ground, skin-on, almonds
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 c granulated sugar
- 3-5 red plums

Step 1
Make pastry cream and blend with 1 c of the ground almonds, 2 eggs and 1/4 c granulated sugar in medium bowl.
Spread into pre-baked tart shell and top with 3-5 red plums, halved and pitted.
Bake at 350 on bottom rack of oven until filling is puffed, golden brown and firm around the center plums when pressed; 50 - 60 minutes.
Let cool. Dust with powdered sugar.
