Ingredients
- all purpose flour 5 C
- sugar 3 TB
- yeast 1 TB
- dried basil 2 tsp
- dill 2 tsp
- salt 1 tsp
- garlic powder 1 tsp
- rosemary 2 tsp
- milk 3/4 C
- water 1/2 C
- butter 1/4 C
- egg 1
- butter 1 TB

Preparation
Step 1
combine:
2 C flour, sugar, yeast & seasonings
in small sauce pan heat milk , water & 1/4 C butter
then add to dry ingredients
mix just until moist
add egg then stir in remaining flour
turn onto a floured surface and knead about 6 min to form an elastic dough
cover and let rise 10 min
divide dough into thirds
shape each into a 15" rope
braid dough
pinch ends to seal and tuck under
cover and let rise for 25 min
bake at 375 for 25 min
brush with 1 TB melted butter
