Ingredients

  • 1 1/2

    Cups Karo Syrup

  • 3 3/4

    Cups Sugar

  • 1

    Cup Water

  • Powder Sugar 1 Large Bag

  • Food Coloring

  • LorAnn Oil Flavor whatever flavor you would like

Directions

Mix syrup, sugar & water in saucepan. Bring to 260*, add 2-3 drops of food coloring. STOP STIRRING. Continue to boil until it reaches 310*. TURN OFF, take out thermometer & add 2 drams(2 bottles) of flavoring, stand back & stir. Dump powder sugar onto counter and spread out 1/2" thick, create troughs in the powder sugar. Gradually pour sugar mixture into the troughs. Dust the troughs with extra powder sugar. When slightly hard cut into small pieces, put in collander to shake off excess sugar. Store in an airtight container.
