Ingredients

  • Salad:
  • Lettuce
  • Red leaf Lettuce
  • 8 oz. Swiss Cheese, grated
  • Red Grapes, split
  • Red Onion, Sliced
  • 1/2 C. Slivered Almonds (for sugared almonds stir over .....heat with 1/2 C. sugar until melted & coated)
  • Mandarin Oranges
  • Cooked Chicken, opt.
  • Dressing:
  • (stir til smooth)
  • 1 C. Sugar
  • 2 t. dry Mustard
  • 2 t. Salt
  • (add)
  • 2/3 C. Red Wine Vinegar
  • 3 T. Onion, finely chopped

Preparation

Step 1

In a blender slowly add:
1 1/2 C. Oil
1 drop Red food Coloring
by hand, stir in:
1 t. Poppy Seeds

(or you can use Brianne's Poppy Seed Dressing)

Serve Salad with toasted bagel, fruit & jello
