Ingredients

  • 5 c old fashioned oatmeal
  • 1/2 c wheat germ
  • 1/2 c wheat bran
  • 1/2 c oat bran
  • 1/2 c flaxseed
  • 1/2 c sesame seed
  • 1/2 c sunflower seed
  • 1 T cinnamon
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 c or more chopped almonds, pecans, walnuts, pine nuts
  • 1/2 c canola oil
  • 1/2 c honey
  • 1/2 c maple syrup
  • 1/2 c molasses
  • 1 1/2 T vanilla
  • fruit of choice: coconut, cranberries, raisins, currants
  • coco nibs

Preparation

Step 1

preheat oven 350.

combine dry ingredients in a large bowl.

add wet ingredients and mix until completely coated.

bake 30 minutes to an hour, stirring every 10 min.

when done, add fruit of choice and let cool before storing.
