Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds halibut fillets (about 1-inch thick)
- 4 tablespoons snipped fresh basil
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, pressed
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven broiler. Cut fish into 4 serving-size pieces. In a small bowl, combine remaining ingredients; brush mixture over both sides of halibut. Place fish on the unheated rack of a broiler pan; broil 4 inches from heat source for 8 to 12 minutes or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork, turning once.
LC SERVING SUGGESTION: Steamed green beans and stir-fried zucchini and yellow squash.
SERVING SUGGESTION: Add steamed red skinned potatoes.
